October is upon us and it’s time to celebrate the immense contribution of school libraries in our communities. The international community through the International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) has dedicated the entire month of October as the International School Library Month (ISLM).
The dates for the ZIBF have been set for the 22nd to the 25th of October 2018. The Indaba Conference will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2018. The theme for this years Indaba Conference is “The Book: Creating the Future”. The Sub-Themes is "The Book: Creating the Future".

The 52nd Zimbabwe Library Association (ZimLA) Annual conference ended on a high note last week with an election that dissolved the National Executive Council (NEC) led by Mr. Lantern Fusire. A new NEC was elected with Shadreck Ndinde elected President of ZimLA.
