Lantern Fusire - ZimLA President


Lantern Fusire was nominated ZimLA president in 2013 and has been involved in the work of the association from the branch were he has been the Branch Chairperson for Matebeleland Branch. He has made strides in working out strategies to have a strategic plan for the association.

Shadreck Ndinde - ZimLA Vice President

Shadreck Ndinde was Masvingo Branch Chairperson and was elected to the position of ZimLA Vice president at the 50th Conference held in Masvingo. He is a holder a Master of Science degree in Library and information Science from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST).  Shadreck has passion in working with community libraries and has been very active in identifying and resuscitating library structures in Masvingo province. Currently shadreck is working at Great Zimbabwe University as a Systems Librarian. He has published on various library topical issues and is researching on quality measurement  in University libraries for further studies. 

Harriet Ncube - ZimLA Secretary General


Harriet Ncube is  the Secretary General for ZimLA and has been industrious in organising conferences and meetings for ZmLA NEC. Harriet coordinates  ZimLA activities working with the president has made ZimLA a household name at branches.

Charles Poterai - ZimLA National Treasurer

Charles Poterai was elected to the position of ZimLA at the 50th ZimLA Conference heldin MAsvingo. He holds a Bacholar of Science honors In Library and Information Science from NUST. He graduated in 2013 and started working at Mucheke High School as a Librarian that same year. He is the National Treasurer for ZimLA. He has presented and facilitated at various Library related workshops. His passion is in seeing the youth develop Information Literacy Skills and a strong reading culture.

Praymore Tendai - Advocacy Officer


Praymore Tendai is currently working an Assistant Librarian at Great Zimbabwe University. He is a holder of a MSc Library and Information Science and a BSc Hons Library and Information Science from NUST obtained in 2011 and 2007 respectively. He has served Zimla Masvingo branch since 2012 as a branch treasurer until July 2016 when he was elected as National Advocacy Officer. His areas of research interest include but not limited to information literacy, information seeking behaviours and advocacy.

Kenneth Mangemba - ZimLA Editor

Kenneth Mangemba was re-elected into the National Executive Council to be ZimLA Editor at the Masvingo conference. He continue to be instrumental in shaping ZimLA commuication strategy through increasing ZimLA visibility on soical media hubs. He has been working on introducing new platforms to reach out to members of the Association.
